EWG Teams will be heading to The Cape Cod Challenge Cup Tournament is hosted by the Sandwich Soccer Club every Memorial Day weekend. The Town of Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod. A great seaside historical village visitors can enjoy Whale Watches, Harbor cruises in nearby Hynannis, fried clams rolls, miniature golf, and ice cream cones! Up to two hundred teams from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York participate in the tournament, enjoying exciting and competitive soccer, and all in a great place, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Age group divisions are from U9 to U16 (girls and boys) .U9 and U10 play 8v8, with a minimum of 4 games guaranteed, and trophies for all players who participate. U11 and U12 also play 8v8. U13 and above play 11v11. These groups will have a minimum of 3 games guaranteed, and playoff rounds with trophies for 1st and 2nd place within each division.
2012: The players that went to the Cape over Memorial Day weekend all had a blast! We had several returning players as well as new players during this fun filled tournament. We are proud of all our players who participated in this tournament; they all played wonderful and should be proud of their performances. Our boys’ u12 team made it into the playoffs, go boys! Our girls’ u12 and u16 teams both won their divisions, nice job girls! Our boys’ u10 gold team won all four of their games as well, great job boys! Again, congratulations to all the players who played in the Cape Cod tourney.



2011: Teams had a great time at the Cape over Memorial Day weekend ! We had many new players join us during this fun filled tournament. We are proud of all our players who participated in this tournament; they all played wonderful and should be proud of their performances.
