COACHES... Don’t forget to USE OUR TRAINERS to help you get things going... EWGYSA has professional trainers available on Saturday mornings. These trainers will be assisting coaches run a practice for U4, U5 and U6 teams for the first half hour of their game time. But the second half hour of each hour is an open session for anyone to join until the top of the hour when the next set of young kids arrive for their games!

KIDS CORNER
Coaches! We would like to recognize players from week to week.  It could be a child's first goal or perhaps a multi-goal game or a great play or simply some excellent effort during a game or practice.  In short, we want to get the kids excited about the possibility of being recognized and encourage everyone to read each publication or visit the website.  So, if you have someone you'd like to recognize, please send a brief synopsis of the player you'd like recognized and the reason why and and we'll add it here.  Thanks!

 HOW TO REGISTER AS A COACH:

  • Click the link "Register as a coach" in the black box in the upper left hand corner of this page. 
  • If you are a NEW coach, enter the information under New Users for an Individual User - New Account.  This will allow you to create a new account for you as a coach.  When prompted, please be sure to enter Exeter West Greenwich Youth Soccer Association so that your information will be transferred to the correct entity. 
  • New and Returning Coaches, once you have your coaching account:
  1. Go to www.GotSoccer.com.  
  2. Click on User Login in the upper right hand corner.  
  3. Click on the Login under Teams and Team Officials.  
  4. Enter your Username and Password under Individual Coach.  This will take you to your coaching home page.  
  5. Click on Club Registration to indicate your desire to coach recreational soccer, following the prompts accordingly.  
  6. Click on Background Check to verify the status of your Background Check. If you have never coached, you will need to click Submit New Report.  If you have coached previously, under Background Check Report History, click on Print Card.  This will bring up a pdf version of the background check expiration date.  Background checks are valid for 2 years.  If yours has expired, go back to the secion where it says Submit New Report.  If it will expire during the season, click Submit New Report on prior page.  If your background check is approved through the season, no further action is required.  ALL BACKGROUND CHECKS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE START OF THE SEASON OR YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO COACH.
